Product Description

This beautiful dwarf Japanese maple is an ornament for any garden, but can also be grown in a pot or container on the terrace or balcony. This slow-growing plant forms a branched upright shrub with pink, white and green variegated leaves. The autumn colour is a beautiful pink-red colour. The plant is winter-hardy and deciduous.

Care
Japanese maples are best planted from March to early October. During this period, the soil is warmer and the plants can root well. In a planter, this plant does not require special potting soil. Japanese maples are strong plants, but the leaves can be damaged in a windy location. Therefore, place the Acer in a sheltered spot. The plant prefers a spot in partial shade, preferably not too much direct sunlight. Too much direct sunlight can dry out the roots, which leads to leaf loss and burning. A Japanese maple is not evergreen, which means that it loses its leaves in the winter. However, the plant is very winter-hardy and will sprout again from March with beautiful new leaves.

Format
The plant has a height of 25-40cm upon delivery, measured including pot. The plant is delivered in a pot with a diameter of 10,5cm.
