Acer palmatum 'Garnet', 'Emerald Lace' - Mix of 2

This set comes with two beautiful Acers; 'Garnet' and 'Emerald Lace'. Garnet has beautiful red leaves with which you can decorate your garden. It is known for its large, deeply cut leaves and its sculptural shape. The branches give every garden a beautiful oriental touch. Towards spring the Acer gets bright red leaves and then turns to a rich dark red. The variety of colors gives this plant a special appearance and makes it a beautiful addition to your garden. Acers palmatum 'Emerald Lace' is a beautiful Japanese maple. Acer's deeply cut leaves come to life in spring with their bright, lime-green color. As summer approaches, the leaves become red-rimmed, creating a striking contrast. Finally, in autumn the foliage turns a red-orange hue before falling to the ground.

Care
Acers are slow growers, making them compact trees. This allows you to grow the trees in a pot or smaller garden. Japanese maples are best planted from March to early October. During this period the soil is warmer and the plants can root well. Japanese maples are strong plants, but the leaves can be damaged in a windy location. Therefore, place the acers in a protected place. The plants prefer to be in a spot in partial shade, preferably not too much direct sunlight. Too much direct sunlight can cause the roots to dry out, causing defoliation and burning of the leaves. Japanese maples are not evergreen, meaning they lose their leaves in winter. However, the plants are very hardy and will sprout beautiful new leaves from March.

Format
The plants have a height of 60-70cm upon delivery, measured including the nursery pot. The plants are supplied in a nursery pot with a diameter of 19cm.
