Acer palmatum 'Little Princess' - Set of 2 - Maple

The beautiful Japanese Maple 'Little Princess' is a jewel for every garden, but can also be used in a pot or container on the terrace or balcony. It is a compact Japanese maple that can grow between 100-150 cm high, which also makes it perfect as a Bonsai. The Japanese Maple 'Little Princess' is a beautiful variety, the plant sprouts light brown in the spring, turns yellow with a red edge in the summer and steals the show in the autumn with spectacular autumn colours. The Japanese Maple is very winter hardy and deciduous.

Care
Japanese maples are best planted from March to early October. During this period, the soil is warmer and the plants can root well. In a planter, this plant does not require special potting soil. Japanese maples are strong plants, but the leaves can be damaged in a windy location. Therefore, place the Acer in a sheltered spot. The plant prefers a spot in partial shade, preferably not too much direct sunlight. Too much direct sunlight can dry out the roots, which leads to leaf loss and burning. A Japanese maple is not evergreen, which means that it loses its leaves in the winter. However, the plant is very winter-hardy and will sprout again from March with beautiful new leaves.

The plant has a height of 45 to 55cm upon delivery (measured incl. pot). The plant is delivered in a pot with a diameter of 19cm.
