Adenium obesum - White - Desert rose

The Adenium, better known as the desert rose, is a particularly beautiful plant. As the name suggests, it originates from the dry parts of the desert in East and Northeast Africa. There, the Adenium can grow up to 5 meters high with a beautiful bare trunk. Fortunately, the plant does not grow that high at home. Striking about the Adenium are the beautiful pink flowers, fresh green leaves and the irregular shape of the trunk.

Care
Because the Adenium is a desert rose, it needs a lot of sunlight, preferably facing south. If the Adenium does not get enough light, it will not bloom. Give the Adenium small sips of water regularly. The plant usually blooms until the end of July and the second flowering period is from September to October. If the Adenium grows too big, you can prune it back partially. This is best done when it has finished flowering. If the plant gets side shoots, it is best to prune them away. This way, the plant can focus its energy only on flowering at the top. When the plant is in bloom, it needs more water than usual.

Format
The plant has a height of 30-45cm upon delivery, measured including the nursery pot. The plant is supplied in a nursery pot with a diameter of 13cm.
