Allium Gladiator - Set of 16 - Ornamental onion flower bulbs

The Allium, also known as "ornamental onion," is a unique bulb that adds a splash of color to the garden. They bloom between May and June, just when the spring flowers are past their peak and the summer blooms are just beginning to bloom. This makes them the perfect bulbs to bridge this often dull period in the garden! The Allium Gladiator is one of the most well-known and striking ornamental onions, thanks to its beautiful, deep purple flowers and height of approximately 125cm, which immediately draws attention in the garden. They look striking from a distance, but the closer you look, the more beautiful they become! The bulbs can be planted between September and December.

Dog Care
Caring for an ornamental onion is not difficult: the plant mainly requires a sunny spot. Furthermore, it is sufficient to water the Allium at least once a week. In the autumn, cut away all faded flowers, but leave the green leaves. These will die off in the winter. The Allium Gladiator is winter-hardy, so you can safely leave the plant outside. That way you can enjoy it again next summer!
