Aphelandra - Set of 2 - Zebra Plant

The Aphelandra originates from the subtropical regions of America. It is also called the zebra plant because of its striking leaves that have a dark green color with white stripes. The plant is mainly kept for its leaves, but it can certainly also bloom strikingly in the spring. It then gets yellow flowers that are somewhat reminiscent of the flower of most Bromeliads.

Dog Care
The temperature is important for the Aphelandra. It prefers to be at a higher temperature all year round. After all, it likes a lot of warmth. The plant also likes a lot of light, but not direct sunlight. A north-facing window is ideal. The Aphelandra also likes high humidity. Spraying the leaves about once a week will do the trick. Spraying is pointless during flowering because the flowers can rot quickly. Watering once a week is sufficient. Make sure the soil dries out between waterings. In addition, it is important for the Aphelandra that no water remains in the pot so that the roots do not rot. Please note: the Aphelandra can be poisonous to pets.

Format
The plants have a height of 25-45cm upon delivery, measured including the nursery pot. The plants are supplied in a nursery pot with a diameter of 13cm.
