Product Description

Grow your own horseradish? You can with horseradish rhizomes! Horseradish is known for its sharp, spicy flavour that is released when the root is finely chopped or grated. The vegetable is full of vitamin C, which helps support your immune system. In addition, the root also has an anti-inflammatory effect. Horseradish can be harvested from September.

Care
Plant the horseradish between October and the end of March in a sunny spot in light, fertile and water-permeable soil. In the summer, small white flowers bloom, after which you can cut off the leaves. Between November and March - about a year after you have planted the horseradish, you can harvest it. Please note: the plant is a very fast grower. To prevent it from taking over your garden, it is best to let it grow in a container or pot.

This set contains 2 rhizomes and weighs approximately 0,6 kg.
