Blueberry plants, also known as Vaccinium corymbosum, are fantastic plants to add to your backyard or vegetable garden. In addition to producing delicious blueberries, these plants have creamy white flowers in the summer and rusty red leaves in the spring. This makes them look great too. Grow blueberry bushes in acidic soil for sweet, juicy berries packed with vitamins. Blueberry plants are easy to care for and also thrive in lime-free, acidic soil. For best results, grow two different types of blueberries to ensure proper pollination. These popular fruit plants will produce fruit for years with the right care and pruning.

Care
Blueberry plants reach a maximum height of 2 metres and are completely winter-hardy. The bushes form blueberry-like berries that are three times larger than the native blueberry. Blueberries need moist, acidic soil. Plant the Vaccinium preferably in full sun. Pruning is best done in early spring, before growth starts. This is because blueberry plants produce fruit from July to October. Therefore, fertilise the plant in spring. You can also enjoy this plant in the autumn months, when it turns a beautiful red.

Format
The plants have a height of 25-40cm upon delivery, measured including the nursery pot. The plants are supplied in a nursery pot with a diameter of 9cm.
