Summer-flowering bulbs can be planted from March through June in a sunny or lightly shaded spot. Plant the bulbs with the pointed end facing upwards at a depth of approximately 5–15 cm, depending on the bulb's size. Maintain a planting distance of approximately 15–25 cm so the plants have enough room to grow and a full, balanced bloom develops. Provide well-draining soil and water well after planting. Once the plants are well-established, they are easy to care for, but extra watering is important during dry periods. After flowering, dead flowers can be removed for a neat appearance.
