Brighamia Insignis 'Hawaii' - Set of 2

The Brighamia is a special palm tree from Hawaii. The plant grows endemic, which means that it only occurs in a certain area. In this case, the Brighamia only grows in Hawaii. This plant was in danger of extinction for a long time, but thanks to specialized cultivation techniques, this is no longer the case and it is now even for sale as a houseplant. As a houseplant, the plant is striking because of its unusual appearance: the fleshy stem is formed by a large wreath of light green leaves. The small yellow flowers appear in October and November.

Care
The palm can lose leaves due to a change of location or stress during the winter period. This is a natural phenomenon and new leaves will quickly grow in return. Don't worry if the lower leaves turn yellow and fall off. This is a natural process that ensures that the plant retains its special appearance. Important: do not place the Birghamia in a sunny spot. This palm does not like direct sunlight and prefers shade/partial shade.

Format
The plants have a height of 25-35cm upon delivery, measured including the nursery pot. The plants are supplied in a nursery pot with a diameter of 12cm.
