The Calathea 'Fusion White' steals the show in every interior with its special leaves. The Calathea originally comes from the jungle of South America where it mainly grows in the shade of large trees. That is why this plant does very well in a shadier spot in the house. The Calathea is also known as 'The Living Plant', because it closes its leaves in the evening and opens them again in the morning. If you are very quiet you can even hear the rustling!

Care
The Calathea is a real shade plant and it is therefore important that it does not get too much light. When the plant gets too much light, the leaf patterns can fade. Due to the tropical origin of the Calathea, it requires high humidity. You can give the plant a little lukewarm water 2-3 times a week, the potting soil should always be slightly moist. In the winter you can reduce this to once a week. To prevent root rot, it is important that no layer of water forms on the bottom of the pot. Therefore, always feel the soil with your fingers before watering.

Format
The plants have a height of 30-40cm upon delivery, measured including the nursery pot. The plants are supplied in a nursery pot with a diameter of 14cm.
