The Camellia Japonica, also known as the Japanese rose, is a must-have for every garden. The plant originates from China, Japan and Vietnam, where it grows high in the mountains. The Camellia Japonica Brushfield's Yellow blooms from the end of winter, namely between February and April, which makes it the perfect plant to herald the spring. The Camellia Brushfield's Yellow has white flowers, which is quite rare for a Camellia, with a yellow heart. This special Camellia has a lot of bud formation, which guarantees a colour explosion in the early spring garden. The Camellia also provides colour in the garden in winter, because it keeps its leaves all year round. This makes it one of the best bloomers for the Northern European climate. The plant is delivered with a height of 50-60 cm (measured including pot).
Dog Care
A Camellia prefers a slightly acidic, preferably humus-rich soil. In summer it is important to keep the soil around the plant well moist. The plant prefers partial shade. Eventually the plant will grow into a large shrub, but several plants can also be placed together to form one large shrub. Furthermore, the Camellia does not grow quickly, usually about 15-20 cm per year. Therefore, especially in the beginning, it is not necessary to prune the plant regularly. It is important to remove dead branches and spent flowers.
Format
The plants have a height of 50-60cm upon delivery, measured including the nursery pot. The plants are supplied in a nursery pot with a diameter of 15cm.
