Camellia japonica 'Lady Campbell' - Rose

Camellia Japonica, also known as the Japanese rose, is a must-have for every garden. The plant originates from China, Japan and Vietnam, where it grows high in the mountains. Care
This Camellia has a compact and upright growing form and prefers to be in the shade or partial shade, in slightly acidic and well-drained soil, preferably humus-rich. In the summer it is important to keep the soil around the plant moist. Eventually the plant will grow into a large shrub, but several plants can also be planted together to form one large shrub. Furthermore, the Camellia does not grow quickly, usually about 15-20 cm per year. Therefore, it is not necessary to prune the plant regularly, especially in the beginning. It is important to remove faded branches and faded flowers.
