Camellia japonica 'Lady Campbell' - Set of 2 - Rose

Camellia Japonica, also known as the Japanese rose, is a must-have for any garden. The plant originates from China, Japan and Vietnam, where it grows high in the mountains. Camellia Japonica 'Lady Campbell' flowers in late winter, between February and April, making it the perfect plant to herald the arrival of spring. The flower buds form in winter and slowly open as spring approaches.

Dog Care
This Camellia has a compact and upright growing form and prefers to be in the shade or partial shade, in slightly acidic and well-drained soil, preferably humus-rich. In the summer it is important to keep the soil around the plant moist. Eventually the plant will grow into a large shrub, but several plants can also be planted together to form one large shrub. Furthermore, the Camellia does not grow quickly, usually about 15-20 cm per year. Therefore, it is not necessary to prune the plant regularly, especially in the beginning. It is important to remove faded branches and faded flowers.
