Canna 'Cannova' - Flower reed - Canna Pink

The Canna 'Cannova' Pink creates a tropical atmosphere in your garden or balcony. These unique plants bloom with beautiful, striking flowers in a vibrant pink. The Canna is native to Central and South America, but is now also very popular in Southern Europe because of its colorful flowers that bloom profusely all summer long. What's special about the Canna is that it's not limited to warm countries. It can be found in virtually any climate, even above the Arctic Circle. As long as the summer days are long enough for them to receive 6-8 hours of sun, they can grow almost anywhere. This makes the Canna ideally suited to cooler summer climates. The Canna Cannova Pink blooms from May to October and can grow up to 120 cm tall.

Dog Care
Canna Cannova will bloom longer if you remove dead flowers along with the stem and cut them off just above the ground. Fertilize the Canna regularly and ensure it gets enough water. The soil should not dry out, as Canna is originally a waterside plant. Therefore, it should always be kept in moist soil. Canna Cannova is not winter hardy. Dig up the tubers in October, after the plant has finished flowering, remove any loose roots, and remove all leaves. Take a bucket or pot filled with potting soil and bury the tubers in it. Place them in a cool, frost-free place to overwinter. Water weekly, even during the winter. Cannas should not dry out. In March, they can be moved back outside to start growing again.

The plant has a height of 35-45cm upon delivery, measured including the nursery pot. The plant is supplied in a nursery pot with a diameter of 17cm.
