Codiaeum variegatum 'Mrs. Iceton' - Croton

The Codiaeum Iceton is known for its changing appearance. The leaves of this plant start out very light yellow and slowly change into a dark green leaf with red accents. Usually the lower leaves are darker than the upper ones, which makes it a really special appearance. This beautiful, large houseplant is also called the miracle bush. This large plant is native to Malaysia, Australia and Indonesia, among others. In its natural habitat this plant can grow up to three meters high. Fortunately, growth is limited in our climate and the wonder shrub also fits nicely in a living room.

Dog Care
Place the Codiaeum in a sunny spot. The miracle bush needs at least five hours of sun per day. Place the plant near a window facing northeast or west. If the plant is placed near a window facing south, it is advisable to place the plant half a meter from the window, because otherwise the plant will receive too much direct sunlight. However, if there is too little light, the leaves can fall off or lose their beautiful color. Changing temperatures can also cause the plant to lose its leaves. This plant does not like a draughty environment. Give the plant enough water: in the summer preferably three to four times a week and in the winter once every five days. The root ball must not dry out. Spray the miracle bush preferably once a week with water to remove dust from the leaves and prevent vermin. Be careful, because this houseplant is slightly poisonous to pets.

The plant has a height of 60-70cm upon delivery, measured including the nursery pot. The plant is supplied in a nursery pot with a diameter of 19cm.
