The Codiaeum Iceton is known for its changing appearance. The leaves of this plant start out very light yellow and slowly change into a dark green leaf with red accents. Usually the lower leaves are darker than the upper ones, which makes it a really special appearance. This beautiful, large houseplant is also called the miracle bush. This large plant is native to Malaysia, Australia and Indonesia, among others. In its natural habitat this plant can grow up to three meters high. Fortunately, growth is limited in our climate and the wonder shrub also fits nicely in a living room.
Care
Place the Codiaeum in a sunny spot. The miracle shrub needs at least five hours of sun per day. Place the plant near a window facing northeast or west. If the plant is placed near a south-facing window, it is advisable to place the plant half a meter from the window, otherwise the plant will receive too much direct sunlight. However, if there is too little light, the leaves may fall off or lose their beautiful color. A changing temperature can also cause the plant to lose its leaves. This plant does not like a drafty environment. Give the plant sufficient water: Preferably three to four times a week in the summer and once every five days in the winter. The root ball must not dry out. Preferably spray the wonder shrub with water once a week to remove dust from the leaves and prevent pests. Be careful, as this houseplant is mildly toxic to pets.
Format
The plant has a height of 110-120cm upon delivery, measured including the nursery pot. The plant is supplied in a nursery pot with a diameter of 27cm.
