Crossandra 'Fortuna' - Set of 2

The Crossandra Fortuna is a member of the Acanthaceae family. The Crossandra originates from India, Malaysia, Sri Lanka and Madagascar. The plant is mainly used in India to perform various traditions. The flowers are used there for decoration. The strong, non-fragrant flowers are very popular because of their bright colour and good shelf life. The Crossandra can continue to bloom from March to October with new orange petals.

Care
The flowering period of the plant begins in spring and ends in autumn. To keep the plant permanently beautiful, it is advisable to regularly remove spent flowers. The plant likes sunlight, but try not to place the plant in full sun. The plant needs regular water, make sure that the soil does not dry out. In the winter months the plant needs less water and the soil can be drier. It is advisable to fertilize the Crossandra a few times a year. The plant grows to about 100 cm in height.

Format
The plants have a height of 20-30cm upon delivery, measured including the nursery pot. The plants are supplied in a nursery pot with a diameter of 13cm.
