Ctenanthe 'prayer plant' - Set of 2 - Burle-marxii

The Ctenanthe is a plant that originally occurs in tropical Central and South America. The plant is closely related to the Calathea and has the same nice characteristic that the plant pulls up its leaves in the evening. This means that you see the beautiful striped top of the leaf during the day, and the beautiful purple underside in the evening. So don't be alarmed if you hear some rustling in the evening: these are leaves sliding past each other!

Care
The Ctenanthe Burle Marxii is easy to care for. Place the plant in a light spot, but not in direct sunlight. Keep the soil slightly moist and preferably give small amounts of water 1 to 2 times a week. Do not let the soil dry out too much. Try to keep the location of the Ctenanthe the same as much as possible. The plant is quite sensitive to shifting. When you take good care of the plant, it can produce a lot of new leaves! Another advantage of the Ctenanthe is that it is not poisonous to pets or children.

Format
The plants have a height of 30-40cm upon delivery, measured including the nursery pot. The plants are supplied in a nursery pot with a diameter of 14cm.
