Curcuma 'Al Siam Supreme' - Set of 2

The Curcuma symbolizes Asian nature and culture. In the wild, the Curcuma grows in countries such as Thailand, Laos, Cambodia and India. The plant has also been given the name Siamese Tulip, because of the beautiful pink flowers. The herb of certain Curcuma species has been an important part of Indian medicine for centuries and is still used in dishes to this day. In the Netherlands it is also known as turmeric. Unfortunately, these Curcumas will not produce this herb, but the ease of care that the plant brings makes up for this completely. This Curcuma blooms from June to September. The flowers are actually not real flowers but colored bracts, intended to attract insects.

Dog Care
The sunlight in the rainforests of Southeast Asia is a lot brighter and that is why the Curcuma in the Netherlands likes a place with a lot of sunlight. For example, a window frame is an ideal place for the Curcuma. Keep a close eye on the plant during the summer months, the leaves can burn. In that case, temporarily move the plant to a shadier spot. The plant could even be left outside above 15 °C! The Curcuma likes moist potting soil, so do not let it dry out. Ultimately, the Curcuma can grow up to 150-200cm! Furthermore, the Curcuma Al Siam Splash is non-toxic, so ideal if you have pets.

Format
The plants have a height of 40-60cm upon delivery, measured including the nursery pot. The plants are supplied in a nursery pot with a diameter of 13cm.
