Cyclamen persicum, also known as the Persian cyclamen, is a beautiful flowering plant with striking, graceful flowers. This popular cyclamen species thrives both indoors and outdoors and brings color and elegance. It may look fragile, but the cyclamen is a strong bloomer that comes from a sturdy tuber. The green leaves are heart-shaped and often have a beautiful silver-gray or light green pattern. Thin stems roll out between the leaves on which amazing flowers emerge that stand upright like flags. This cyclamen is also very suitable for the balcony or in the garden, for example in a beautiful border. Because the plants are half winter hardy, we advise you to protect them from severe frost. These beautiful white cyclamens are an asset to your garden or windowsill.

Care
Cyclamen persicum requires moderate care. With a good location and regular sips of water you can go a long way. Do not place or hang your cyclamen in a place that is too warm or sunny, so not above a heater or in full sun, they prefer cooler than warmer places. The ideal temperature for the plant is 15 degrees. Cyclamen are originally forest plants, which means that they normally grow under trees or shrubs that provide shade. Are you planting more than one cyclamen in a pot? Then do not plant them too close together: a little air between the leaves is more pleasant. In the summer, a cyclamen likes a sip of water every day. In the winter you do not have to water as often. Make sure that the soil is always slightly moist.
