Cyclamen persicum, also known as the Persian cyclamen, is a beautiful flowering plant with striking, graceful flowers. This popular cyclamen species thrives both indoors and outdoors, bringing color and elegance. While it may look fragile, the cyclamen is a vigorous bloomer that emerges from a sturdy tuber. The green leaves are heart-shaped and often have beautiful silver-gray or light green markings. Thin stems unfurl between the leaves, producing stunning flowers that stand upright like flags. This cyclamen is also very suitable for the balcony or in the garden, for example, in a beautiful border. Because the plants are semi-hardy, we recommend protecting them from severe frost. Dog Care
Cyclamen persicum requires moderate care. A good location and regular sips of water will go a long way. Do not place or hang your cyclamen in a place that is too warm or sunny, so not above a heater or in full sun, they prefer cooler than warmer places. The ideal temperature for the plant is 15 degrees. Do not plant them too close together; a little air between the leaves is more pleasant. In the summer, a cyclamen likes a sip of water every day. In the winter, you do not need to water as often. Make sure that the soil is always slightly moist. Preferably do not pour on the flowers or leaves when watering, but aim your watering can directly at the soil. It is even better to immerse the plastic pot for half an hour and then let it drain. Only put the plant back in the decorative pot when the cyclamen has completely drained. The tubers of this plant contain substances that are poisonous.
