A tropical appearance, easy to care for and an air purifying effect. The Dracaena 'Lemon Lime' has it all! This cool houseplant originally comes from Africa, Central America and Asia. The climate in these areas is quite harsh for plants, but this does mean that the Dracaena can take a beating and is therefore easy to care for. In the Netherlands, this plant is also known as the Dragon's Blood Tree, thanks to the red resin that flows from the plant when a cut is made in the trunk or leaves. This houseplant filters polluted particles from the air and ensures a healthier environment. The Dracaena requires little maintenance. It is the ideal plant for the home or office. This Dracaena is characterized by its pointed, light green leaves with dark stripes.
Care
The Dracaena does very well in a spot in the (half) shade. This plant also does not need much water. Only water the plant when the soil feels dry. Too much water can cause root rot. This can be recognized by the leaves: brown spots with yellow edges appear here. If this does happen, it is recommended to water less and remove the brown leaves. If the plant is wet for a long time, the roots can rot and it will then be difficult to save the plant. In winter the plant needs even less water than in summer. When in doubt, give too little water rather than too much. Pruning is not necessary, but can be done in the autumn to keep the plant compact.
Format
The plant has a height of 60-70cm upon delivery, measured including the nursery pot. The plant is supplied in a nursery pot with a diameter of 17cm.
