Product Description

The famous and very popular Areca palm, also known as the Golden Palm, originates from the humid tropics of Madagascar. Areca palms can grow up to 12 meters high outdoors in the rainforests. However, indoors the plant remains much smaller and usually does not grow taller than 2 meters. The Areca is number one on the list of best air purifying plants, and purifies the environment in which it is placed by removing dangerous chemicals such as formaldehyde, xylene and toluene. This also makes the Areca very popular in offices. Apart from its useful properties, the Areca also simply looks beautiful with its narrow, glossy leaves.

Care
The Areca is not a difficult plant to care for. The plant prefers a light spot, but not in direct sunlight. Water preferably twice a week, in the winter once a week is sufficient. The root ball should always be slightly moist. For a healthy plant, it is advisable to add some plant food to the irrigation water once a month. Because the Areca originally grows in a climate with high humidity, it is advisable to regularly spray water on the leaves. You can cut off brown old leaves.

Format
The plants have a height of 30-45cm upon delivery, measured including the nursery pot. The plants are supplied in a nursery pot with a diameter of 12cm.
