Fargesia Grex - Set of 6 - Blue Bamboo

The Fargesia Grex is a beautiful bamboo species native to China. It is very easy to maintain and has an airy, upright growth habit that is non-invasive. What makes this bamboo particularly special is that the stems develop a blue-gray color over time, provided the plant is planted in the ground. This does happen after a few years; upon delivery, the stems have a beautiful greenish hue. The bamboo is winter-hardy to about -20 degrees Celsius. The Fargesia reaches a maximum height of approximately 3 meters. This also makes it suitable for creating a beautiful, dense hedge. The Fargesia retains its leaves year-round and adds a true oriental ambiance to your garden.

Dog Care
Fargesia prefers a sunny or semi-shaded spot and needs moderate to abundant water. Water the plants regularly in the summer and on warm days. It is advisable to plant the bamboo at a distance of 40-60 cm from each other if they are in the open ground. However, it is also possible to plant the plants in a pot in the garden. However, if the bamboo is planted in a pot, it will not develop the blue colour.

Format
The plants have a height of 30-40cm upon delivery, measured including the nursery pot. The plants are supplied in a nursery pot with a diameter of 13cm.
