Fargesia Grex - Set of 6 - Blue Bamboo

The Fargesia Grex is a beautiful bamboo species that originally comes from China. The bamboo is very easy to maintain and has an airy, high growth and is not rampant. What makes this bamboo extra special is that the stems get a blue-gray color over time, provided the plant is planted in the open ground. However, this does happen after a few years, upon delivery the stems have a beautiful greenish color. The bamboo is winter hardy to about -20 degrees Celsius. The maximum height of the Fargesia is about 3 meters. This also makes the plant suitable for creating a beautiful dense hedge. The Fargesia retains its leaves all year round and gives a real oriental atmosphere to your garden.

Care
Fargesia prefers a sunny or semi-shaded spot and needs moderate to abundant water. Water the plants regularly in the summer and on warm days. It is advisable to plant the bamboo at a distance of 40-60 cm from each other if they are in the open ground. However, it is also possible to plant the plants in a pot in the garden. However, if the bamboo is planted in a pot, it will not develop the blue colour.

Format
The plants have a height of 30-40cm upon delivery, measured including the nursery pot. The plants are supplied in a nursery pot with a diameter of 13cm.
