Howea Forsteriana - Kentiapalm - XL houseplant

The Kentia palm, also known as Howea Forsteriana, is a relatively slow-growing palm. It originates from Oceania and is now very popular as a houseplant. This large plant will undoubtedly bring an exotic ambiance to your office or living room. The Forsteriana is the only Kentia palm species grown in our climate. It belongs to the palm family with an elegant growth habit and soft, glossy, dark green leaves. It is also one of the oldest houseplants.

Dog Care
The ideal temperature for this large palm tree is between 15 C° and 25 C°. From February to September, weekly watering is sufficient. The rest of the year the plant only needs water once a month. The palm is very easy to care for because it requires little water. However, it is important that the soil does not remain dry for long. The Kentia prefers a position in the shade or partial shade. The plant should never be in direct sunlight, as this will burn the leaves. That is why it is best to place it near a north-facing window. If the leaves become lighter or yellow, move them to an area with more shade.

The plant has a height of 130-140cm upon delivery, measured including the nursery pot. The plant is supplied in a nursery pot with a diameter of 21cm.
