Hyacinthus 'Blue Trophy' - Set of 15 - Hyacinths

With the hyacinth, you not only bring beautiful flowers into your garden, but also a piece of Greek mythology. Hyacinthus is the Latin form of the Greek word Huakinthos. According to Greek myth, Huakinthos was beloved by the sun god Apollo. He was mortally wounded while throwing the discus, and from his flowing blood grew a flower, which Apollo named after Huakinthos. The Blue Trophy Hyacinth flowers have a striking dark blue color and a wonderful fragrance. The hyacinth is easy to combine for a versatile garden. The hyacinth grows to a height of approximately 20-30 cm. Plant the bulbs between September and December, and in April you can celebrate spring when the flowers are in full bloom.

Dog Care
Hyacinths do not require much care. The most important thing is that they are planted in well-drained, light and fertile soil. In case of frost, it is best to put leaves, peat and branches over the bulbs for protection. The bulbs can also be planted in a pot or container. If they are in a container, it is important to protect them from frost with, for example, bubble wrap, straw and leaves.
