Hydrangea 'Ice Crystal' - 2 Pieces - Hydrangea

The Hydrangea quercifolia 'Ice Crystal' is an oakleaf hydrangea. The plant grows to a height of approximately 150 to 175 cm and has a rich flowering with plume-shaped white flowers. The flowering starts in June and can continue until August. During the flowering, the white colour of the flowers changes to soft pink. The leaves have deeply incised edges and have a deep green colour in the spring that changes to purple-red in the autumn. The hydrangea is deciduous and winter hardy. The Ice Crystal likes to be in the open ground as well as in a large pot, which makes it perfect for both the garden and the terrace and balcony.

Care
Hydrangeas do not like drought and need a lot of water, especially in the summer. It is best to give the hydrangea a lot of water at once, then a little bit every now and then. Planting is possible from March to mid-October, both in the open ground and in a decorative pot, but it grows best in the open ground. When planting, keep a distance of 75 cm between the plants. The plant can best be pruned in March, about 30 cm above the ground. The harder you prune the hydrangea, the larger the flowers will become.
