The Jasmine plant has the Latin name 'Trachelospermum Jasminoïdes' but is better known as Star Jasmine or Tuscan Jasmine. It is a fantastic evergreen climber with many good qualities. For example, it has beautiful dark green leaves all year round, which sometimes take on a red, bronze color in the winter. But the most beautiful thing about this plant are the beautiful fragrant white flowers. From spring onwards, white, star-shaped flowers appear that spread a wonderful scent, which is also often used in perfumes.

Care
Tuscan Jasmine is a real climber. Therefore, this plant is supplied with a bamboo stick, as it needs some support when climbing. However, Jasmine can not only be used as a climber, but also as a flowering ground cover. The plant prefers full sun or partial shade and needs a well-drained soil. Therefore, water Jasmine regularly, especially in the summer. Although Jasmine is winter-hardy down to -10 degrees Celsius, it is advisable to cover the pot of the plant in severe frost.
