Liatris is a beautiful plant, also called lampshade or beautiful candle, and is originally from North America. The name Liatris stands for steadfastness, just like the plant that comes back every year. Thick stems grow from the tubers with beautiful, delicate flowers that attract butterflies and bees. Multiple stems grow from one tuber and the plant grows larger every year, so you can enjoy these tubers for years. You can also use the flowers as cut flowers, which makes them very versatile. The tubers can be planted between March and May.

Care
Plant this plant in a nice sunny spot in the garden at a depth of 10 cm in well-drained, nutrient-rich soil. The Liatris grows to about 80 cm. High. Sometimes it is necessary to support the flowers with a stick. Make sure you water the plants regularly during flowering, the plant will then develop more flowers. The faded flowers can be cut off.
