Lilium orientalis 'Happy Ice' - Set of 6 - Lily - White

The Lilium Asiatic Happy Ice is a beautiful, compact lily. Lilies are appearing in more and more gardens, and for good reason. These iconic white lilies are a graceful addition to any summer garden, blooming from June to August. They are not only beautiful, but also exude a delightful fragrance. The Asiatic lily remains compact and grows to a height of about 45 cm. The Lilium Happy Ice can be planted in the ground or in pots and combines well with other plants. The bulbs can be planted in spring (March-May), after the last frost. The lily is also perfect as a cut flower, so you can enjoy the beautiful blooms indoors as well. Pick the stems as soon as the bottom flower opens, preferably early in the morning. Place the stems immediately in a vase with lukewarm water and cut flower food.

Dog Care
The bulbs can be planted in spring after the last frost, approximately 10 cm deep, in well-drained soil. First, loosen the soil well and spread a layer of sharp sand at the bottom of the planting hole. This allows rainwater to drain away from under the bulbs. Space the bulbs about 15 cm apart. Add some good potting soil during planting. The lily prefers a sunny spot but needs cool feet. Therefore, plant the bulb in a location with sufficient sunlight, so you can cover it for cooling if necessary. Also, keep the soil slightly moist at all times.
