Care
For abundant flowering it is important to give Magnolia 'Soulangeana' a sunny spot in rich, acidic soil. Magnolias do not need to be pruned: they actually grow best without pruning. If you do want to prune the Magnolia, it is best to limit this to a single pruning session. In winter the bulbs need protection from freezing temperatures. The plant is not poisonous.
