Care

So ensure high humidity and spray the plant occasionally. Do not give the plant too much water, prefer small amounts. The leaves will droop as soon as the plant needs water. Furthermore, the Medinilla likes a somewhat higher temperature: it cannot withstand the cold very well. It is advisable to remove the old flower stems as soon as the flower has finished blooming. After this, the Medinilla can grow new leaves and perhaps even flowers!
