Miscanthus Zebrinus - Winter Hardy Ornamental Grass - Set of 2

The Miscanthus 'Zebrinus' is a decorative grass with long narrow upright leaves. This grass distinguishes itself from other Miscanthus species by the cream-coloured and horizontal stripes on the leaf. This is why it is also called Zebra grass. The grass blooms clump-shaped and bronze-coloured plumes from September to October, which is a very cool sight during the winter in the garden.

Care
Miscanthus 'Zebrinus' can be planted in any good garden soil. Furthermore, the care is not very difficult, the grass prefers a sunny spot and well-drained soil. It is advisable to prune the grass in March, so that it grows back nicely. The flowering period of the grass is from September to October. Eventually, the Miscanthus 'Zebrinus' can grow up to 200cm high! Moreover, the Prachtriet is not poisonous to animals.
