Delicious passion fruits appear in the first year after flowering. The fruits taste fresh and sweet and sour. In addition to delicious fruits, the plant also produces special, large flowers. These flowers grow from May to September. This is followed by the fruit from about September to October. The passiflora is moderately winter hardy. It is a climbing plant: the plants attach themselves and quickly cover a trellis or a wall. They are strong and fast growers and have many flowers. Furthermore, they are ideal plants for in a pot but can also be planted in the open ground. Passiflora plants can grow 3 to 4 meters high. Passiflora is also very attractive to bees and butterflies. The Passiflora XL Victoria blooms from May to September with striking purple flowers.

Care
The passion flower does not have complicated requirements. It grows quickly and does not have high demands on the soil or nutrition. The plant likes slightly moist soil and a sunny location with a little shade. However, passion flower is poisonous to pets.
