Phyllostachys 'Bissetii' - XL Bamboo

Phyllostachys bissetii, also known as giant bamboo in the Netherlands, is a large, fast-growing bamboo species. This bamboo is very wind-resistant and perfect for use as a tall screen or hedge. It grows best in full sun, but also does well in partial shade. Bissetii bamboo is the best evergreen bamboo species and is also winter-hardy, providing a green, soothing ambiance in any outdoor space year-round.

Dog Care
Bamboo Bisetii is easy to care for. It's a very hardy plant that doesn't require much maintenance. It can be pruned year-round, but the best time for this is August or September. Because the Bisetii is a luxuriant bamboo, it's advisable to use a root barrier. Give the plant plenty of water, especially in summer. If the leaves curl, it's time for some more water.
