Polyscias 'Balfouriana'

The Polyscias, also known as Aralia, is native to Asia, Africa, and the Pacific Islands. Polyscias is Greek for "Poly" (scias). This isn't because it loves shade, but because it can grow very large in the wild and provide plenty of shade! The Polyscias Balfourii has unique round or heart-shaped leaves in a beautiful green, white, or yellow. The leaves grow along the entire branch, creating a beautiful, full plant. Its sturdy trunk and branches make it feel like you have a small tree in your home.

Dog Care
The Polyscias prefers consistently moist soil, but be careful not to let it get wet feet. This can cause root rot. Initially, it's a matter of trial and error to determine how much water the plant needs. Feel the soil occasionally with your fingers to gauge how quickly it dries. The faster the soil dries, the more water you can give. The Polyscias especially likes rainwater. Tap water often contains too much lime, which can cause the leaves to turn white.

The plant has a height of 70-80cm upon delivery, measured including the nursery pot. The plant is supplied in a nursery pot with a diameter of 19cm.
