The name Prunus Armeniaca suggests that the plant originally comes from Armenia, but this is not true! The tree is originally from Northeast China. It grows delicious apricots that are a bit smaller than normal. This makes them perfect for the temperate climate of northwestern Europe. The apricots can be harvested in August. The ripe apricots can be eaten straight, but are also delicious in jam. The apricot tree also has beautiful light pink flowers that bloom from March to early April. It provides life in the garden by attracting butterflies and bees.

Care
The plant prefers a sheltered spot in the sun/partial shade facing south. The more sun the plant gets, the better the fruits will grow. It likes to be in well-drained soil. In addition, the plant can be pruned annually in winter. Crossing branches can then be removed. Prunus Armeniaca likes to be fed in early spring.

Format
The plant has a height of 90-100cm upon delivery, measured including the nursery pot. The plant is supplied in a nursery pot with a diameter of 21cm.
