Rhododendron Azalea 'Starstyle' is also called Japanese Azalea. Japanese Azalea is a collective name for a group of Rhododendrons that grow naturally in Japan. They are all compact growing plants with a rich flowering in the spring. Rhododendron Azalea 'Starstyle blooms in the months of April/May with special star-shaped flowers, which makes this Azalea species unique. The shrub is evergreen and hardy and therefore also has leaves in the winter. It is a slow grower and therefore remains low and compact. An ideal colorful addition to the somewhat smaller garden or planting in flower pots. Some of the leaves are shed by the Azalea in the winter to make room for the new leaves in the spring. In this mix you will receive a pink, red and white Azaela 'Starstyle'.
Care
Rhododendrons are generally easy garden plants that do require some care. This mainly concerns the soil in which the garden plant is planted. It must have sufficient moisture and a low acidity. The humus in the soil is usually provided by plants in the garden, for example by fallen leaves: these prevent evaporation and ensure that the soil retains moisture. Such a covering of fallen leaves is called a mulch layer. Therefore, do not remove fallen leaves around the roots. If you plant Rhododendron azalea 'Starstyle' in a pot, it is important that the plant gets enough water and occasionally peat litter. Plant the garden plant in new soil and a slightly larger pot. Only prune to keep it in shape, preferably shortly after flowering.
