Ribes rubrum - Currant - Set of 4 - Red currants

The red berries of the Ribus Rubrum 'Jonkheer van Tets', also known as currant, are packed with vitamins B and C and also taste delicious. The berries can be eaten straight from the tree, but they can also be used for smoothies, juices or jam. They are also delicious in yoghurt or pies. This berry bush produces many berries that can be harvested in June-July. When the plant is in the sun, the berries can ripen well.

Care
The Jonkheer van Tets is an easy to maintain plant. The shrub can be planted all year round in a sunny or semi-shaded spot. When the plant is in the sun, the berries can ripen better. Make sure that it is not freezing when the plant is planted. The type of soil does not matter much for the plant, it is important that the soil is sufficiently moist and not too chalky.

Format
The plants have a height of 50-60cm upon delivery, measured including the nursery pot. The plants are supplied in a nursery pot with a diameter of 15cm.
