Ribes uva- crispa - Set of 3 - Gooseberry

The red berries of the Ribus Uva-crispa, also known as gooseberry, are packed with vitamins A, C and E and have a sweet and sour taste. The berries are mainly used for smoothies, juices or jam. This berry bush produces many berries that can be harvested in July-August. When the plant is in the sun, the berries can ripen well and will taste sweeter.

Care
The gooseberry is an easy to maintain plant. The shrub can be planted all year round in a sunny or semi-shaded spot. When the plant is in the sun, the berries can ripen better. Make sure that it is not freezing when the plant is planted. The type of soil does not matter much for the plant, it is important that the soil is sufficiently moist and not too chalky.
