Care
You can plant the Amaryllis with the bottom half of the bulb in the ground, or with the roots in water in a glass vase. The Amaryllis likes a nice warm temperature in the room, 20-24 degrees is perfect! A spot above the heating is fine, the plant is very happy with a warm surface. The Amaryllis requires a light location. If they are too dark, the stems will become too long and will need more support. Before they start flowering, they often have to be woken up, this can be done by soaking the bulb in a bowl of lukewarm water for an hour.
