Rubus fruticosus - Set of 2 - Blackberry

The Rubus fruticosus 'Thornfree' is a thornless blackberry that produces many fruits. This blackberry produces delicious sweet fruits that can be used perfectly for jam or blackberry juice, for example. The Thornfree is self-pollinating. The blackberry blooms from the end of April to the beginning of June with striking and deliciously scented white-pink flowers that attract bees and bumblebees. The blackberries can be picked from July to September. The plant is winter hardy.

Dog Care
The Rubus fruticosus 'Thornfree' requires regular pruning to keep the plant healthy and productive. Pruning can be done in both spring and autumn. After harvest, the branches that bore the fruit can be cut back completely to create space for new shoots. The blackberry prefers humus-rich, slightly acidic soil and a sunny location. It also thrives in partial shade, making it suitable for use in a variety of garden locations.

Format
The plants have a height of 50-60cm upon delivery, measured including the nursery pot. The plants are supplied in a nursery pot with a diameter of 15cm.
