Rubus idaeus 'Malling Promise' - Set of 2 - Raspberry

The summer raspberry Rubus idaeus Malling Promise produces deliciously soft raspberries. The plant blooms with beautiful white flowers in May and June, and the raspberries are ready to be picked in July. The Malling Promise is a self-pollinating plant, so you don't need another plant for fruit formation. The large raspberries are full of vitamin C and fiber and are low in calories. They can be stored in the refrigerator for up to three days, but are best just after picking.

Care
The Malling Promise likes a position in full sun or partial shade and prefers an acidic to neutral, well-drained, humus-rich soil. Make sure that the plant remains sufficiently moist, especially when the plant is in a pot, check regularly whether the soil is sufficiently moist. Pruning is very important to promote new growth. Prune the plants back to the ground every autumn/winter period. The plant will return in the spring.
