Rubus Nigrum - Set of 3 - Blackcurrant

The Rubus Nigrum is a blackcurrant bush that produces many fruits. The blackcurrant blooms at the end of April/beginning of May with small greenish-white flowers. After flowering, blackcurrants form on one-year-old branches. The berries are very healthy with a high vitamin C content. The berry is used to make jam, jelly or juice (Cassis).

Care
The Rubus nigrum needs to be pruned regularly for a richly bearing berry bush. After the harvest you can prune away the branches that had the fruits on them completely. The blackcurrant likes a moist, nutritious soil and likes to be in a sunny spot, but also does well in partial shade.

Format
The plant has a height of 25-40cm upon delivery, measured including the nursery pot. The plant is supplied in a nursery pot with a diameter of 9cm.
