Salix Flamingo - Variegated Willow

The Salix Flamingo is a beautiful, deciduous willow from Japan. The plant immediately stands out because of the beautiful white-pink colour of the leaves in the spring, which makes it look like it is blooming! Even after the leaves have fallen in the autumn, the branches of the Salix steal the show thanks to the striking bright orange colour. The Salix Flamingo ensures that the garden is colourful all year round.

Dog Care
Salix Flamingo is a hardy plant that can tolerate temperatures down to -15°C. It can grow up to 3 metres high and two metres wide. It is advisable to prune the Salix every year in March to maintain the compact, full shrub. This also ensures that the new leaves get their typical pink colour. Furthermore, Salix prefers moist soil, but make sure that the roots are not constantly under water. Do not place the tree in full sun, as this can burn the beautiful leaves.

Format
The plants have a height of 60-80cm upon delivery, measured including the nursery pot. The plants are supplied in a nursery pot with a diameter of 17cm.
