Salix Helvetica - Dwarf Willow - Set of 2

When silvery-gray catkins appear on the branches of this willow, it's a clear sign that spring has arrived! Salix Helvetica is a compact Swiss dwarf willow with a rounded shape and dark brown branches. This species is particularly suitable as a standalone plant in a smaller garden, but can also be planted in borders combined with other perennials or in a pot on the patio. It also looks beautiful in a rock garden. The tree is deciduous and develops glossy silver-green leaves in spring that are greenish-gray on the underside. It is very winter-hardy, tolerates sea winds and air pollution, and its leaves turn yellow/orange in autumn. A wonderful addition to the garden!

Dog Care
Salix 'Helvetica' is easy to care for. It's important to water the plant regularly and keep the soil slightly moist but well-drained. Outdoors, the plant thrives in full sun. Once the Salix has finished flowering in April/May, it can be pruned back. Be careful with your pets, as this plant is poisonous.
