Senecio Rowleyanus 'Pea Plant'

The pea plant, also called Senecio Rowleyanus or String of Pearls, is an incredibly cute plant. The hanging plant has small stems with balls on them. In the Netherlands it is a houseplant, in warm, dry climates the plant also does very well outdoors. The plant is very easy to care for, because it is a succulent. As a result, the pea plant requires virtually no water. A nice additional fact is that these plants are easy to take from cuttings. You cut a stem and place it in the water. As soon as roots grow on it, you can place it in a pot with soil.

Care
The Senecio Rowleyanus needs little water, it is a real succulent. The plant stores water in the thickenings (the peas), so it can survive for a long time without water. It is important that the soil dries out between waterings. Preferably use an inner pot so that the pot can be watered from below, this is what the pea plant loves! The plant needs little plant food, once every 2 months is more than sufficient. Ultimately, the plant's strings can grow up to 200 cm long! Be careful, as the plant is mildly poisonous to pets.

Format
The plant has a height of 10-20cm upon delivery, measured including the nursery pot. The plant is supplied in a nursery pot with a diameter of 12cm.
