Tillandsia Andreana - Set of 3 - Air Plants

Red flowers are very rare in Tillandsias. It has soft green leaves and forms a perfect green sphere that resembles a sea urchin. This Tillandsia is one of the most beautiful and unique species and is a true collector's item. Tillandsia is a member of the Bromeliad family and includes over 400 species. The plant is native to the forests, deserts, and mountains of South and Central America. Almost all Tillandsias are epiphytic, meaning they have little to no roots. They grow on trees or rocks. Water and nutrients are absorbed from the air through the scales on their leaves. Tillandsias are therefore also known as air plants.
