The Spathiphyllum, better known as the Peace Lily, are famous for their ability to remove bad substances from the air. The Spathiphyllum forms a dense clump of large, upright, glossy, evergreen leaves with drooping buds, making this a beautiful houseplant all year round. In spring and early summer, the elegant white flowers appear on slender stems above the leaves. The white flowers make the Spathiphyllum much more unique and different from other green houseplants. A Spathiphyllum can bloom several times a year when properly cared for. The flowering period lasts up to 10 weeks at a time, making it an exceptionally long bloomer!
Dog Care
The Spathiphyllum needs more water than other houseplants. It is therefore recommended to water the plant twice a week in summer and once a week in winter. You can recognize a lack of water when the leaves of the Spathiphyllum start to droop. Do not place the plant in full sun: it prefers a sheltered spot. Another important aspect is removing spent flowers after they have finished blooming, so that the plant can focus its energy on producing new leaves and flowers.
Format
The plants have a height of 60-75cm upon delivery, measured including the nursery pot. The plants are supplied in a nursery pot with a diameter of 17cm.
